Don't Judge Me Because I Serve Differently Than You
If you've read my earlier posts you know for years I've prayed about serving a mission. If one was right for me, if I should go, when I should go, can I even do such a thing. Eventually the answer was yes, but in a different way. I am a Young Church Service Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. No, I don't knock on doors. No, you won't see me walking the streets or riding bikes. No, I don't leave my home for 18 months-2 years to teach the children of God. But I AM a missionary. This last Sunday I was set apart as a missionary for the church. I get to serve the Lord just as those who knock on doors & ride bikes get to. I just get to do it in my own way. You see, I have a medical condition. For those who know me, they know that I have been diagnosed with seizures.
