Is it the end? Or just the beginning?
Well, as of Friday (November 15) soccer season at Palomar is done with. It's probably one of the most bitter-sweet things I've had to deal with (despite moving to Cali). As most of you know, soccer is my life. It's more than just a game to me, it's a life style, and a crazy one at that. Going from doing nothing all summer to doing two hours of soccer a day definitely makes life a little crazier, but even with the crazy adjustments and the injuries I'm so glad I persevered. This team has taught me so much about the passion and endurance you need to play the beautiful game. Now we weren't always the happiest team, and we didn't always get along, but once we pushed through the differences we each had, we were able to see the potential. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses, but in the end that's what makes a human and what makes us a team. Now this season did cause me quite a bit of stress.
